Services

Two halves of one job: getting the right goods into your warehouse at a workable price, and helping you sell them once they arrive.

Sourcing

Finding and vetting the factory

Anyone can send you a supplier list. The work is in filtering it down to manufacturers who will actually take your order size, hit your quality bar, and still be trading next year.

Supplier search

You describe the product; we identify manufacturers capable of making it to your specification and quantity. We look for producers rather than resellers, because a layer of middlemen is a layer of margin and a layer of blame-shifting.

Supplier verification

Before you transfer money we confirm the company is real and registered, that it manufactures what it claims, and that its export paperwork is in order. Our regional managers speak the local language and can visit in person.

Samples

We arrange samples and get them to you before any production order is placed. You approve a physical object, not a photograph — and that approved sample becomes the reference for the inspection later.

Product & market advice

Which categories are moving, what competitors are stocking, and where a price point leaves room for margin. Useful when you are choosing between three products and can only fund one.

Order pooling

Reaching a minimum order you cannot reach alone

A factory's minimum order quantity exists for a reason: setup, tooling, dyeing runs and machine changeovers cost the same whether they produce 200 units or 5,000. Below a certain quantity the factory genuinely loses money, so it says no.

Order pooling is our answer. When several Cantonly buyers want the same product — or the same product with cosmetic differences a factory can absorb in one run — we combine those volumes into a single purchase order.

The factory sees one order above its minimum. Each buyer receives their own portion, at unit pricing none of them could have negotiated individually.

What pooling needs from you

  • Flexibility on timing. A pooled order ships when the pool fills. If you need goods on a fixed date, we quote you a standalone order instead.
  • Flexibility on specification. The closer your requirement is to the other buyers', the more of the saving reaches you.
  • Acceptance of a shared run. Your units come off the same production line as other buyers'. For a private-label product with unique branding, pooling usually does not apply.

Straight answer: pooling is not always available. It depends on whether other buyers happen to want something similar at the same time. We will tell you which of the two routes your order is on before you commit.

Logistics & quality

Getting the goods here, in the condition you agreed

Freight consolidation

Part-loads are expensive per unit. We group shipments from several suppliers — and where possible several buyers — into one movement, so you are not paying part-load rates on every order.

Pre-shipment inspection

Goods are checked against your approved sample before they leave the factory, while the supplier still has an incentive to fix problems. Finding a defect after arrival in Copenhagen leaves you with very little leverage.

Documents & customs

Invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and the paperwork your customs broker needs. Getting an origin certificate wrong is one of the more expensive clerical errors available to an importer.

Digital

Web & e-commerce

Many of our buyers are small enough that there is no in-house web team. As part of the Wexpom group we build the shopfront too.

Websites and online shops

Built to be fast, to work properly on a phone, and to be findable in search. Product pages structured around what a buyer actually needs to decide: specification, price, availability, delivery.

Catalogue and app access

Through the Wexpom group's web and mobile applications you can browse supplier catalogues and follow your orders from your phone, on iOS or Android.

Demand

SEO & marketing

Search optimisation

Technical fixes, page structure and content aimed at the specific product categories you stock and the countries you sell into — not generic "traffic".

Targeted campaigns

Positioning your products in front of the buyers most likely to want them, in the markets where you can actually fulfil an order.

Email marketing

Campaigns to relevant trade audiences, and placement of your offers on high-traffic partner sites to raise visibility with buyers already shopping your category.

Not sure which of these you need?

Describe the product and the problem. We will tell you what is worth paying for and what is not.
